Why do Muslims get the virus even though they are clean?
Can we say that Muslims do not get the virus because they are clean?
This would be a very ordinary and unnecessary statement. The scourge of the virus that afflicts humanity today is not based solely on the justification of "not being clean". This is a disaster and it has developed through a natural process in this life. It can also infect clean people. Such discourses are developed as a result of interpreting big events with small minds. Yes, the calamity might not have been so great if we had been more careful in terms of cleaning, but in the end, our title is not just a situation that revolves around the axis of cleaning. We should follow our religion and our piety from wider horizons.
Despite this, the issue of "Muslim and cleanliness" is a difference that should be appreciated even before it gets into such a disaster. Every Muslim experiences piety with the following sensitivity to cleanliness, and this is a difference, biiznillah:
Ghusl at least once a week,
Wudu at least five times a day (together with nasal and oral cleaning),
The order to rub between the fingers in ablution,
Wiping the ears,
Hair cleaning,
Obligation to clean hair for the body,
Obligation to cleanse oneself,
Urine abstinence order,
Obligation to consume clean things, sensitivity to utensils, order not to leave food in open containers, order not to blow into glasses and similar containers,
Order to cover mouth when sneezing or yawning
The commandment to keep the right hand for clean work and never to contaminate it with germs,
The order to eat food with the right hand, the order to wash hands before eating...
Even if these are not done to protect from the virus, they bring the discipline of cleanliness to the believer.
