Is it permissible to get the Corona vaccine?
Selamun aleykum, my sheikh. You have always provided up-to-date answers and enlightened us regarding the corona disaster, which has been on our agenda for a full year. May Allah bless you. But as you know, the corona vaccine has been on our agenda for a few months. There is an issue that it will be compulsory for a certain age and occupational group. In fact, many countries have started to include vaccination among the visa requirements. For now, our risk level is followed only with the HES code, but perhaps vaccine follow-up will be provided in the near future. There are so many rumors about the vaccine. When it first came out, we all said, "We're never going to have this vaccine." But after doctors started getting vaccinated, we said we need to think a little more. May Allah bless you, you enlightened us on everything during the corona period. Can you show us a way in this regard? Does refusing to be vaccinated put us in the plague of humans? Is it permissible to avoid the compulsory vaccination by cheating? If these clamors are true, wouldn't we be deliberately risking our lives? It's also confusing that there are several different brands of vaccines, what do we do? Or if we do not get vaccinated and die due to corona, will God hold accountable? May Allah grant you and all Muslims health and well-being. Selamun aleykum.
Selamun aleykum. May Allah make our end good and protect us from disasters. Unfortunately, objections are made with hearsay statements about the vaccine. In this situation; - The disease is definitely and indisputably catastrophic. - Muslims and humanity are also definitely and indisputably helpless. - There is almost no work of a reliable Muslim or institution that can be a hope of salvation. In this case, it is not our duty as Muslims to talk about the seriousness of the issue. Although our heart is not satisfied, our duty is to use the hope that is present. In our consultations with our Muslim medical professionals, it is said that there is no other choice but to choose the least harmless one. As a result, we can determine: People who are deemed necessary by health professionals and official authorities due to their position, occupation, risk status and environment should be vaccinated. The issue should first be evaluated as 'the soul entrusted by Allah' and 'observance of the rights of other people'.
