Is it possible to predict an earthquake?
I wonder if it is permissible to predict disasters such as earthquakes. So is it predictable like a weather forecast or is it something fake?
Scientific studies on weather forecasting or earthquake prediction and information based on those studies ultimately remain scientific predictions. It is not a guiding decision. It is not an objection to the divine order. From this point of view, it cannot be said that it is religiously objectionable. If the prediction is correct, we see it as a blessing from Allah. Even if it was unsuccessful, we would say that we didn't have a claim anyway.
