My family won't let me marry someone who doesn't have a job, what should I do?

There's a gentleman I've been seeing for about four years. My family is postponing the wedding because they think everyone will say "how can your groom not be in a good job". My father says "you will never marry him because he may use you." This is suffocating my soul. My family is dragging me after this delusion, what should I do in this case?
